What is Epsom Salt?
Epsom salt, also known as Magnesium Sulfate is a pure, natural occurring compound made up of magnesium, sulfur and oxygen.
FCC grade Epsom salt is chemically pure and is produced to a higher standard than technical grade Epsom salt.
It gets its name from the town of Epsom in Surrey, England where it was originally discovered. Despite its name, Epsom salt is completely different to table salt. It’s not recommended in cooking due to its bitter taste.
