Our organic Rose Geranium essential oil is steam distilled from the stalks, leaves and flowers of organic rose geranium plants.
Our Rose Geranium essential oil is 100% natural and pure. Grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, the oil is certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected every year to make sure we follow their strict quality standards.
Origin & History
Our organic rose geranium essential oil originates from Morocco. Rose geranium is native to South Africa and was brought to England in the 1600.
It soon became popular for making perfumes and was soon brought to the warm coastal regions of France and Spain. Rose geranium is now used more in cosmetics and aromatherapy because of its sweet floral aroma.
Blending Suggestions
Organic rose geranium has a sweet rose scent and blends well with many oils including, sweet orange, bergamot, cedarwood, and lavender. It is a middle note, for more information about essential oil notes and blends click here.
Here’s a few of our favourite blends:
Woody blend with slight sweet floral scent:
8 drops Rose geranium oil
8 drops Sweet orange oil
5 drops Cedarwood oil
4 drops Patchouli oil
Sweet and spicy blend:
5 drops Rose geranium oil
10 drops Red mandarin oil
5 drops Ylang ylang oil
5 drops Sandalwood oil
How to Store Your Oils:
To store your organic rose geranium essential oil, make sure to keep it sealed and out of direct sunlight. This will stop it from degrading over time and help prolong the quality.

Safety Precautions
Organic rose geranium oil should be diluted with a carrier oil before skin application as it can cause skin irritation and sensitivity. Our rose geranium oil is not suitable for consumption or any internal use and should be stored out of reach of children.

No, organic rose geranium oil is different to rose oil as they are produced from different flowers. The most common roses for rose oil are Rosa damascena and Rosa centifolia. However, rose geranium oil is from Pelargonium graveolens var. Roseum.
