Sugar Scrub Recipe
Do you love body scrubs? If yes, why not try making your own sugar scrub!
Sugar scrubs are really easy to make and don't require a lot of ingredients. Read on for two of our favourite sugar scrub recipes.
Why make a homemade body scrub?
Sugar scrubs are great for their gentle exfoliating properties and are suitable for rough skin, sensitive skin and dry skin. The exfoliation helps to remove the dead skin cells on the surface, leaving you with soft skin.
Commercial sugar scrubs contain a long list of additives that aren't necessary or good for the skin. Some body scrubs can be too harsh for certain skin types and cause irritation or redness.
When making your own DIY body scrub, you can control what goes in and how much. It can be customised with your favorite essential oils or carrier oils.
Homemade body scrubs are also really easy to make and you only need a few ingredients. Our body scrub recipes contain natural carrier oils and essential oils to nourish the skin.

How to use a sugar scrub?
Homemade body scrubs can be applied in a bath or shower with warm water. Gently rub the body scrub over the skin to help it remove any dead skin cells on the surface.
We recommend applying the sugar scrub once or twice a week. Make sure not to over use the body scrub as this may cause irritated and itchy skin.
