What is organic argan oil?
Organic argan oil is the oil extracted from the kernels of the argan tree. Our pure, organic argan oil is golden in colour with a neutral scent.
Our argan oil is for cosmetics, so the argan kernels have been left untoasted to leave all the nutrients intact and the oil itself is undiluted and pure.
Our organic argan oil is certified organic by the Soil Association. We are inspected annually to make sure we comply with their strict regulations.
What is organic argan oil used for?
Argan oil is rich in vitamin E and oleic and linoleic fatty acids. Pure argan oil is deeply moisturising and can help promote healthy-looking skin, as well as protect and strengthen nails.
Argan oil has a comedogenic rating of 0 meaning it will not clog pores. It is perfect for all skin types including oily skin, dry skin and acne prone skin.
When argan oil is used in cold process soap making it adds to the conditioning effect of the bar, and a little to the hardness and creaminess of the bar.
